Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Support student achievement
- Data analysis and response to work towards equitable outcomes
- Supervision of the middle school campus and school events.
- Manage student discipline and support programs.
- Monitor and address any issues with student attendance.
- Facilitate school Site Council
- Manage plans for student, staff and campus security.
- Hiring, training and evaluation of all staff.
- Serve as Athletic Director for the middle school.
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate all coaches
- Manage athletic practice and game schedules.
- Provide for supervision and game management at all home contests
- Manage the MS Athletic Budget
- Monitor and maintain safe conditions of all MS athletic facilities.
- Promote student enrichment opportunities through athletics, art and activities.
- Serve as a liaison to North Marion Youth Athletics and other community organizations.
- Develop and manage protocols and procedures for student transportation.
- Manage the custodial staff in the building and work with district maintenance staff to insure the clean, safe and efficient operations of the building.
- With Director of Security, train staff on safety procedures and carry out safety response drills.
- Work with Food Services Director to insure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding food and nutrition at the middle school and in concession stands.
- Maintain and continuously update school webpage and calendar.
- Use social media to keep parents and community informed on school events and accomplishments.
- Produce a quarterly newsletter for the middle school.
- Manage school facility usage.
- Oversee transportation and field trips.
- Oversee all assemblies and fundraisers.
- Collaborate with district staff to achieve district initiatives.
- Work with the school nurse to develop sound practices around student health and to meet all state and federal guidelines in this area.

Teacher on Special Assignment – T.O.S.A. – Serving in Vice Principal Role
- Positive Behavior Interventions Systems Facilitator: Led a team which continuously developed and refined constructivist systems that promoted desired behavior, led professional development for staff, used SWIS and CICO data systems to monitor and assist students and present to staff for analysis, and modeled culture of care.
- Behavior Team: Worked with other educational specialists on behalf of students with extremely challenging issues and put together and monitored plans of assistance.
- Safety Committee: Coordinated with a variety of stakeholders on Emergency Response Protocols, earthquake drills, fire drills, lockdown procedures, and other areas of need as designated through staff and community input.
- Educational Assistant coordinator: Coordinated the schedules of all certified staff in the building and provided professional development opportunities.

- After School Tutoring and Homework Help Club Coordinator: Designed and implemented systems of enrichment or correctives for students with additional needs and desires, trained teachers, communicated with community, and monitored programs.
- Discipline Management: Processed referrals; worked with students to develop behavior strategies; contacted families; developed relationships with students, teachers, families, and support organizations; developed systems that assist students with challenging behaviors.
